What ages can attend camp?

Our camp is designed for youth ages 5-10 Years Old.

What are the camp hours?

Camp runs daily from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Summer Camp Extended Care is available from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM for an additional fee. Space is limited and registration is required.

What should my child bring to camp?

Campers should bring:

  • A cold lunch ---- Note: Campers attend the Free School Lunch Program at Schoenbar Middle School during SUMMER ONLY.)
  • Water bottle
  • Backpack
  • Comfortable clothes and athletic shoes
  • Swimsuit and towel on swim days
  • Weather-appropriate clothing

Does camp provide food?

For Fall, Winter, and Spring camp sessions, campers must bring a cold lunch from home.

Summer Camp:
Our camp participates in the Free School Lunch Program held at Schoenbar Middle School. Camp counselors will walk campers to Schoenbar each day for lunch. All campers will eat lunch at Schoenbar during this time, whether they are eating the provided school lunch or a lunch brought from home. After lunch, campers will return to their scheduled activities.

All campers will receive a light afternoon snack each day, along with occasional treats during special spirit days and themed camp activities.

What kinds of activities will campers do?

Campers participate in activities such as:

  • Crafts and creative projects
  • Gym games and outdoor play
  • Field trips
  • Swimming days
  • Roller skating days
  • Special themed activities

What should my child wear? What happens if it rains?

Campers should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for active play. Camp runs rain or shine. Indoor activities if weather prevents outdoor play.

How will I receive schedules and important information?

Kalea, our Programs Director, sends out weekly updates with schedules, upcoming field trips, and important information. Our camp leads and counselors are also happy to answer any questions and may hand out additional information to you or your child at the end of the day.

Please make sure the email you provide is current, as schedules and the welcome booklet are sent electronically.

What if my child is nervous about camp?

Our staff work to create a welcoming and supportive environment where campers can make new friends and feel comfortable.

What if my camper misses a day or arrives late?

Please notify camp as soon as possible. This helps our staff plan for the day and ensures we can let you know where the group will be at the time of drop-off.

What should you leave at home?

We recommend campers leave valuable items, electronics, and toys at home. The camp is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.

Can someone else pick up my child?

Yes, but they must be listed as an authorized pick-up person. Campers will not be released to anyone who is not listed on the pick-up authorization form.

What happens if my child gets hurt at camp?

Minor injuries such as small cuts, scrapes, headaches, or stomach aches will be treated by camp staff and documented. Parents will be notified at pick-up or by email if necessary. If a more serious injury occurs, parents/guardians will be contacted immediately. In the event of a major emergency, emergency services will be contacted.

What happens if my child becomes sick during camp?

If a camper becomes sick during the day, parents or guardians will be contacted and asked to pick up their child as soon as possible.

When should my child stay home from camp?

Campers should stay home if they have:

  • Vomiting or diarrhea (must be symptom free for 24 hours)
  • Fever of 100°F or higher
  • Pink eye or contagious illness
  • Lice
  • Any illness that prevents them from safely participating in camp activities

What if my child has allergies?

All allergies must be listed on your camper’s medical information form. Staff are informed of camper allergies and trained to help maintain a safe environment. We ask families to avoid sending peanut or tree nut products when possible.

Can campers bring medication?

Yes, but medication may only be administered if a Medication Distribution Form is completed and submitted to the camp office. All medications must be in their original container.

Our Summer Camp is supervised by the Programs Supervisor and supported by 2–3 Camp Leaders along with several trained camp counselors to ensure campers are safely supervised and engaged throughout the day.
