A Sign Permit is required before installing or constructing most signs within the Borough. Sign regulations ensure signage is safe, appropriately sized, and compatible with surrounding properties.
You may need a Sign Permit if:
- You are installing a new permanent sign.
- You are modifying the size, height, or location of an existing sign.
- You are installing an illuminated sign.
- You are replacing a sign and changing its dimensions or structure.
Application Materials:
- Completed Sign Permit application form
- Scaled drawing showing sign dimensions
- Complete site plan showing proposed location
- Elevation drawing (for freestanding or wall-mounted signs)
- Illumination details (if applicable)
